Description: A Fine 18th Century Clock by James Sandiford of Manchester. Exceptional Quality mahogany case with inlaid crossbanding and fruitwood quarter columns. The color and patina are superb too. Top quality dial also with sweeping second hand, tidal markers and working moon. Some of the finest provincial clocks were produced in the Lancashire area between 1760 and 1800.

Description: Fine Quality Polychrome Dial Grandfather Clock by Duff of Paisley. Attractive mahogany case with original color. Well painted Polychrome dial with Duncan Grey in the arch and the four seasons in the corners. Polychrome dials were a process mostly done in Scotland, the paint being applied over gold and silver leaf. They are now becoming very collectible timepieces and often feature Scottish folklore in the arch.
